Julie was born and raised in North Dakota, where she learned that integrity and perseverance are key to success in life. In 2017, Julie, her husband, and two daughters moved to Montana, where her love for people led her to a career in real estate.

Working in real estate has enabled her to use her skills while experiencing the joy of helping people as they pursue their dreams of buying and selling property. In 2021, Julie achieved the top 100 status in her local market. Providing exceptional service is her number one priority, and she sincerely cares for her clients. Julie looks forward to meeting new people and is thankful to work in real estate.

In her free time, Julie loves spending time riding their horses, hiking, or relaxing with family and friends. She also absolutely loves a good “do-it-yourself” project!

We can’t recommend Julie enough. We are from out of state and were put in touch with Julie while visiting Red Lodge after we decided we wanted to look for a potential retirement place in Montana. We really had no preconceived notion of where we wanted to be other than we needed to be within driving distance to an airport, which from a buyer’s perspective means we had almost unlimited options, but from an agent’s perspective gave Julie the challenge of how best to narrow the playing field.

Being from out of state, we couldn’t just drop everything and go see a listing. We ended up flying into MT 3 times look at groups of properties that Julie had curated for us. Notwithstanding these trips, Julie actually visited a couple of properties on her own and did either live FaceTime tours for us, or took extensive pictures and videos and sent them to us.

Once we were under contract Julie was on top of it. She recommended a local mortgage broker, Chris Ackerman, who was creative and resourceful. We found a large property that consisted of multiple lots. This caused challenges for Lenders. Julie worked with Chris and the Sellers to devise a work-around. We could not fly in for the inspections but Julie attended and again dialed us up on FaceTime to discuss the findings with the inspector.

Overall we were very happy with Julie. Given all the information available on the internet, realtors have to really step up and hustle to provide value these days. Julie did just that. She stayed engaged and focused all the way through closing. We would highly recommend her.

Julie Magnus is our real estate agent extraordinare. We were living in North Carolina, and looking to move to Red Lodge, Montana, in springtime, 2021. We knew the housing market in Red Lodge was very active, and we had a very limited budget, on the lower end of the housing market. Julie worked diligently to find us homes fitting our criteria. We visited in March, 2021, and Julie had 3 very viable home options lined up for us to view. We put one of the homes under contract before we headed back to North Carolina.
Julie was very instrumental in handling our Red Lodge home purchase long distance for us. She put us in touch with a local mortgage company, scheduled and attended the home inspection on our behalf, oversaw necessary repairs required by the home inspection, as well as mediating between us and the Seller when we experienced delays in selling home in North Carolina. We appreciate Julie’s professional service plus her above and beyond attitude.

Julie was awesome in helping my daughter and I search for homes and treated us like family. She helped find the perfect home that met all of our needs. We were looking for a home that already had a setup where we could be in the same house but have different spaces. Julie found us a home close to downtown with 1714 sq ft 2 kitchens,2 bathrooms,2 living rooms, a nice yard and we only have to share the laundry room. I took the basement 1 bdrm apartment and Jami has the 2 bdrm main house. Julie showed us quite a few homes and the last one we looked at is the one we are now living in. We are having fun fixing up the place and can't wait for Julie to stop by and see all of the improvements we have made on the exterior.
